"When we walked into our finished apartment for the first time, after BNO had completed final staging, we felt
only one thing. We felt like we were home. It had been a 14-month build since we combined two adjacent
19th floor units in a new Sarasota condominium. They began as a blank slate, and BNO had overseen the
design and its implementation from more than 1,000 miles from their home base in NY.
This was our second project with BNO. Benjamin had been the lead interior designer for 35XV, where we
have an apartment and we hired him to finish out our unit. The process began with consultation where he
listened to our needs. We are collectors of furniture and art and he looked at pieces we were putting in the
apartment.

Benjamin’s talents were evident. What appears to be a straightforward, clean, modern aesthetic is much
more nuanced at BNO. Pieces that were meaningful to us became centerpieces for a space and
thematically connected different rooms. The interior was very harmonious. It was at once comfortable – even
homey – but sharp and exacting, too. We were thrilled.

For Sarasota, our project was more ambitious. This is our primary residence, but Sarasota is also
undergoing a transition. Completed at the forefront of Sarasota’s boom in luxury condominium construction,
this project would heavily influence the newly built residences to come. By virtue of its size, location and
prominence, it would be one of the most important apartment homes on Florida’s gulf coast. Our individual
tastes added to the challenge. The apartment would showcase our collection which includes Art Nouveau,
Mid-Century and contemporary art and furniture. It would serve as our home, a place to entertain and a
welcoming retreat for our adult children and guests to visit.

During the project, Kevin and Dragan were true professionals. Whether they were offsite or in town, the
interface with local contractors felt seamless. When problems arose – every project has them – they were
dealt with quickly. They were responsive to any and all of our concerns. Over the years, we have been
involved in many projects, and their capabilities in this regard impressed us.

They rose to the occasion! The result is a wonder. For every use and every need we have there is a
thoughtfully designed space. There are inviting sitting areas. There are exciting contrasts that highlight
pieces and surprise. When someone comes to the apartment for the first time, their eyes widen and they
smile. The delight does not fade. It just works.

We are very happy with the result and for that we credit BNO primarily."

Regards,

Mark & Donna Salzberg
